Nicki Minaj's New Album 'A Blueprint For Female Rappers'
Posted by Jeremy Thomas on 06.23.2014

Nicki Minaj's Pink Friday: Roman Reloaded may have been a serious sidetrack in Nicki Minaj's goal to get on top of the rap game but that's not stopping her from keeping the bar high. Minaj spoke with BBR Radio 1 and said that she wants her next LP to inspire artists in the future.

Minaj said of The Pink Print, which releases this year, "Jay has had his Blueprint albums and that's what I feel like this album's gonna be. I really feel like this album will be like a Blueprint for female rappers to come."

She also owned up to the fact that the second album didn't meet expectations, saying, "I think the second album lacked a little bit of focus, I think the first album was very focused and very raw and just very real, and I think the third album is back to just being raw and real. I'm addressing things that I've never addressed before on the third album."

She added that some new material will be releasing soon, saying, "I have some stuff coming out in the next couple weeks that are gonna blow people's minds."
