"Here comes the big, bad hard rock band..."
In an interview with NME, Lars Ulrich commented on the backlash of Metallica headlining Glastonbury and said that the band plan to "shake up" the event.
He said: "I am aware of the fact that there are some people with opinions, which is fine. There always is with opinions. We've been doing this for the better part of 30 years and everybody's always got something to say about Metallica… it's better that people have an opinion than no opinion. Obviously Glastonbury is an institution and has a lineage and a history that is unlike anything else. And here comes the big bad hard rock band to shake all that up."
He also said he would be staying on Sunday to watch Kasabian headline that night. He also plans on watching The Black Keys, The Horrors, and Dolly Parton.
