Bono Calls Apple A Religious Cult, Criticizes Them For Not Supporting His Charity

He's not happy...
In an speech at the Cannes Lions event (via Billboard), Bono criticized Apple for not supporting his charity RED and called them a religious cult. Here are highlights:
On his RED iPad cover with the logo on the inside cover (hidden by the tablet): "Where's the (RED) branding? Nobody can see that. This is modesty run amok. This is the Apple way. They're like a religious cult."
On advancing the RED brand: "The people in this room could really figure this shit out. If somebody has one product they make that they could just rebrand next year for (Red), that would be really great outcome for us."
On politicians finally taking notice: "Politicians would be saying, 'I'm not feeling it in my district. Why should we care about this?' When (Red) started turning up in shopping malls, they cared."
The charity was formed to help fight AIDS and HIV.
