Daft Punk to be Featured in New BBC Worldwide Documentary
Posted by Jeffrey Harris on 06.26.2014

Variety reports that Daft Punk will be subject of an upcoming TV documentary produced by BBC Worldwide Production France. The company has been commissioned by French channel Canal Plus to produce a one-hour film about the duo. It will air in 2015.

The project was announced at the non-fiction conference Sunny Side. This is BBC Worldwide's first commission from Canal Plus. The film will document the rise and artistry of the duo,

Thomas Bangalter and Guy-Manuel de Homem-Christo, from Daft Punk's formation in 1993 through their huge success of 2013's Random Access Memories.

The band has sold more than 12 million albums around the world throughout their career and won six Grammy Awards.
