G-Eazy to Place at No. 3 on Next Week's Billboard 200 Chart
Posted by Jeffrey Harris on 06.28.2014

Billboard reports that rapper G-Eazy is likely set to place No. 3 on next week's Billboard 200 chart with his new album, These Things Happen.

Per industry sources, the set is on course to sell around 45,000 copies by the end of the tracking week on Sunday, June 29. The set would arrive behind Ed Sheeran's x at No. 1 and Sam Smith's In the Lonely Hour at No. 2. The new Billboard 200 top 10 will be released on Wednesday, July 2. In addition, These Things Happen should debut at No. 1 on the Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums chart.

Sheeran's album is poised to sell around 200,000 copies, the largest debut for a pop album this year. Other albums set for high debuts next week include Mastodon's One More 'Round the Sun and Phish's Fuego. Both albums will likely sell around 25,000 copies.
