Unreleased Blur, Pulp And Suede Performances On New Britpop Compilation

NME reports that a new compilation is set to be released that celebrates the 20th anniversary of Britpop. It includes previously-unreleased performances from BBC Radio 1's The Evening Session, including Blur, Pulp, Suede and Supergrass. The album is called Britpop at the BBC and will be released on July 14.
It features one disc with the fourteen performances, along with two discs of 44 of the singles of the era, selected by show presenters Steve Lamacq and Jo Whiley. It features songs form Marion, My Life Story, Echobelly, Oasis, The Verve and Radiohead.
Lamacq said on the sleevenotes of the album: "You'll find a whole array of bands; the miscreants and mavericks who made Britpop what it was."
