Drummer Lars Ulrich speaks…
Speaking to the BBC, Metallica said the band would "love" to come back and headline Glastonbury again. The band headlined the festival on June 28 at the top of the bill on the Pyramid Stage.
Speaking on the event, drummer Lars Ulrich said the experience was "otherworldly." He stated, "That was sensational. I don't remember much of it... the energy was fantastic." He added, "We have one shot, you never know if you'll be invited back. I want to soak up every second of this thing. We would love to come back."
During the set, James Hetfield told the crowd, "We're very proud to be here and represent the heavier side of music."
