Three Headliners Already Booked for Glastonbury 2015
Posted by Jeremy Thomas on 06.29.2014

According to the organizer of Glastonbury, there are already three headliners booked for next year's festival...and that's not including Prince. Michael Eavis said during the festival's press conference (via NME) that one of the bans were officially set down during Metallica's headlining set.

Eavis said, "We've got three headliners already – and that's without Prince. We've got some good headliners. We had an agent [for a band] yesterday on the platform by the stage watching Metallica with me, saying 'My band want to do it next year'. I can't tell you who it was but that was done on the platform watching Metallica. It it a British artist? He's definitely British, but the band are not British any more."

As to Prince himself, Eavis said, "We're always having a go at Prince, but it's up to him whether he wants to do it or not. Most of the people in the world want him to play here. I did ask him to hop on the train and come down so I can show him around the farm sometime. It hasn't been taken up yet."

Meanwhile, bookmaker William Hill told the site that Iron Maiden topped his list of odds, partially due to the fact that Metallica's set was well-received. Iron Maiden is a 7/1 odds to perform, followed by Kate Bush (8/1), Oasis (8/1), Coldplay (10/1), Noel Gallagher (10/1) and U2 (10/1).
