Lineup For This Year's Knotfest Revealed: Danzig, Killswitch Engage And More
Posted by Joseph Lee on 07.07.2014

Billboard reports that Slipknot has revealed the lineup for this October's Knotfest, which takes place in San Bernardino, California for the first time. It happens at the San Manuel Amphitheater & Campgrounds from October 24-26. Slipknot will headline the main stage on the second and third nights with "brand new music and an entirely new stage set and experience.

In March, the band announced that Knotfest will go to Tokyo in November with Korn, Limp Bizkit, Lamb of God and others performing. Tickets for the California edition are on sale now.

M. Shawn "Clown" Crahan said in a statement: "Knotfest is a chance for Slipknot to bring the sensory-overload of a wild European festival -- and now we're coming for you, California. Playing two different sets over two nights at one location is a new experience in the history of this band. This year's Knotfests in the U.S. and Japan are going to be on another level."

The event started in August 2012 in Council Bluffs, Iowa and Somerset, Wisconsin. They're currently working on the follow-up to 2008's All Hope Is Gone.

The lineup includes Slipknot, Danzig, Five Finger Death Punch, Volbeat, Killswitch Engage, Anthrax, Of Mice & Men, Black Label Society, Tech N9ne, Testament, In This Moment, Atreyu, Hatebreed, Hellyeah, The Devil Wears Prada, Carcass, Suicide Silence, DevilDriver, Whitechapel, The Faceless, The Black Dahlia Murder, Maximum The Hormone, Upon A Burning Body, Butcher Babies, Miss May I, Veil Of Maya, One Ok Rock, King 810, Anti-Mortem, Man With A Mission, Nothing More, Chelsea Grin and Alterbeast.
