NME reports that Jack White will release a new White Stripes live album through his Third Man Records subscription service later this year. It's called Live Under The Lights of the Rising Sun and was recorded on October 27 and 28 in 2000. The Japan shows were the White Stripes' first international concerts. They supported The 188.8.131.52's at Tokyo venues Jam and Urga. You can find setlists here and here. The live album will both performances along with never-before-seen photos from the shows and a die-cut, gatefold jacket. You can hear a clip of the album's "Hello Operator" below.
Subscribers to The Vault will also get a new single by The Dead Weather as part of the next release. It is a seven-inch gold-colored vinyl and is called 'Buzzkill(er)'. It will be paired with 'It's Just Too Bad'. The songs follow the release of 'Rough Detective' and 'Open Up (That's Enough)' from earlier this year.
