Azealia Banks Says She's Free of Her Record Contract

Azealia Banks has been keeping people wondering about her debut album for some time. It's been over two years since the rapper signed with Universal Records in January of 2012 on the back of her hit single "212," and since then she's been known for just about everything but her music. Her album Broke With Expensive Taste has been delayed multiple times and she's spent most of her time beefing with Angel Haze, T.I., Perez Hilton and more on Twitter.

Most recently she has been fighting with her label and now, it appears that she's won that battle. Banks posted to Twitter today that she is getting out of her contact with Universal, something she has been asking publicly for since January:
