Redeemer of Souls will be their highest-charting LP yet...
If you can believe it, despite forty years in the business and seventeen albums that have charted on the Billboard charts, Judas Priest has never had an album hit the top ten. That's set to change next week, as Billboard reports that Redeemer of Souls is set to sell as many as 30,000 copies for a top ten placement. The band's previous high was #11 with Nostradamus in 2008.
Currently set to claim #1 will be Sia's 1000 Forms of Fear with around 50,000 copies, while Sam Smith's In the Lonely Hour should hit #2 with around 45,000.
The final chart will be revealed on Wednesday and counts the tracking week from Monday through Sunday.
