Meek Mill’s Next Album Still Being Released as Scheduled Despite Jail Sentence

MTV News spoke with Maybach Music Group head Rick Ross, who confirmed that Meek Mill's next album, Dreams Are Worth More Than Money, will still be released despite Mill's recent jail sentence. The album is currently due out on September 9.
Ross said in a statement: "His album is coming. We ask that the fans and the media continue to support him and his music during this time. He'll be home soon. ‘Dreams Are Worth More Than Money' and family is worth more than Everything. MMG FOR LIFE."
Mill recently received a six month jail sentence on Friday (July 11) for violation of his probation on a 2009 drug and gun case. Ross added that he will continue to support Mill through his legal troubles, saying, "I created MMG years ago, my desire was to create a space where the most talented artists in the world could be nurtured and supported. With that came a commitment. I vowed to support these artist, through the good and the bad."
