T.I. Denies Rumors That He Ghostwrites For Iggy Azalea
Posted by Joseph Lee on 07.23.2014

Billboard reports that during an interview with Bijou Star TV, T.I. denied rumors that he wrote lyrics for Iggy Azalea, who wraps for his Grand Hustle Records. It's been rumored that Azalea has used ghostwriters, including T.I. The rumors progressed after Nicki Minaj said she wrote her own lyrics at the BET Awards.

Minaj said: "What I want the world to know about Nicki Minaj is when you hear Nicki Minaj spit, Nicki Minaj wrote it.

The online reaction seemed to be that she was referring to Azalea. T.I. has a different idea. He said while all artists get help "with hooks and certain things like that," Azalea raps her own rhymes.

He said: "Iggy got her own ideas and thoughts that she presents to the world in her own way. I couldn't write a lot of the shit she say, you know? I couldn't put her thoughts into words as articulate as she does. You know what I'm saying? She just has a different way of presenting herself and her art."
