Vanilla Ice Isn't Keen on the New Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Rap
Posted by Jeremy Thomas on 08.04.2014

Vanilla Ice says that he's not quite feeling the successor to his (in?)famous Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles rap. The Iceman spoke with GQ and said that "Shell Shocked" from Wiz Khalifa, Juicy J and Ty Dolla $ign doesn't feel authentic to the mythology of the series.

"With respect to all of the artists, the song doesn't really do it for me," said Ice. "It feels a little artificial -- what I mean by that is that it sounds like a bunch of executives in the corporate world put it together."

He added, "It really does not fit the theme of the Ninja Turtles legend. I think you have to understand, and be a true Ninja, to possess the magic to really pull off the secret sound."

Listen to both (if you dare) and make your own call on the issue:
