Man Shoots His Friend Five Times While Filming Low-Budget Rap Video
Posted by Joseph Lee on 08.05.2014

New York Daily News reports that a man is wanted for shooting and wounding another man in a Bronx store during an argument over who was the better rapper. You can see surveillance video of the incident below, but it may be NSFW. The two were shooting a low-budget music video at the time on Webster Ave, before it went into the deli near E. 170th St on Saturday.

The gunman is shown with a drink in his hand, firing point blank at the 37-year-old man. Store owner Ali Abdul said: "They were fighting over who's the star, who's better. They were drunk. They spit at each other, then one guy pulled out a gun and shot the other guy five times."

The victim was grazed in the head and was shot in the chest and each leg. The suspect had braided hair and was wearing a red polo shirt with blue jeans and a green baseball cap. He walked up to the victim and hit him with the butt of his pistol before he left. The video also shows five people walking over the victim's body (which was still twitching) to leave the store. Police are trying to find out if any of them knew the shooter.

The victim was rushed to Lincoln Hospital. He is still in critical condition and the shooter remains at large. If you have any information, you can contact the NYPD's Crime Stoppers hotline at (800) 577-TIPS.
