"Baby" is a lifesaver...
It's the kind of story you'd think would be a joke: Justin Bieber's voice was enough to send an attacking bear running for the hills. But as it turns out, this is a real story. The New York Post reports that Russian fisherman Igor Vorozhbitsyn was attacked while on a fishing trip in northern Russia by a brown bear. Vorozhbitsyn says that he sustained curs and bruises to his face, neck and chest and only survived because his phone began ringing. The ringtone? Bieber's "Baby."
Vorozhbitsyn says that the sound sent the bear running back into the woods and he was rescued by passers by. "I had parked my car and was walking towards the spot I'd marked out when there was a tremendous impact on my back and the bear was on top of me," he told Central European News. "I couldn't believe my luck when the phone went off and he fled. I know that sort of ringtone isn't to everyone's taste, but my granddaughter loaded it onto my phone for a joke."
