They value their UK citizenship…
An open letter with over 200 signatories from public figures and celebrities such as Sting, Mick Jagger, Judi Dench, and Stephen Hawking has been sent to The Guardian, urging the people of Scotland to vote no to independence from the United Kingdom. You can read the letter and the full list of signatories at the above link.
The letter urges voters to note that, "What unites us is much greater than what divides us. Let's stay together."
The vote where Scottish voters can vote for independence from the UK is part of a September 18 referendum. Other celebrities who signed the letter include Eddie Izzard, Patrick Stewart, and Simon Cowell.
