Miley Cyrus Gives Her VMA Acceptance Speech Time to a Homeless Youth

To talk about the plight of homeless kids in America...
Here is Miley Cyrus' VMA acceptance speech...but it's not Miley, as you may have noticed. Cyrus won Video of the Year at the VMAs for "Wrecking Ball" but didn't take the stage; instead she let a young man named Jessie, who accompanied her to the award show, up to accept on her behalf. Jessie identified himself as a homeless youth and delivered a speech where he spotlighted the problem of homeless kids in America, noting that 1.6 million teens and childrens are homeless in the United States.
"I've been an extra in your movies, I've been an extra in your lives," he said (via Billboard). "Los Angeles has the largest population of homeless youth in America."
