Chris Brown Pleads Guilty In Assault Case
Posted by Joseph Lee on 09.02.2014

TMZ reports that Chris Brown has accepted a plea deal in the Washington, D.C. assault case. He pleaded guilty of misdemeanor assault for punching a man in the face outside of his tour bus in October. He was sentenced to time served.

He apologized in court, mentioning that the case put his career on hiatus in the past year and he wants it to go away so he can tour again. His bodyguard, Christopher Hollosy, was previously convicted of misdemeanor assault in April but hasn't been sentenced.

Brown served two days in a DC jail and 108 days in a Los Angeles County jail because this latest case violated his probation in the assault of Rihanna case. His girlfriend Karrueche Tran was in court today to offer support.
