Billboard reports that Ariana Grande's new album My Everything has debuted at #1 on the Billboard 200, which gives her two number ones in less than a year. She's the first woman to debut at #1 with her first two albums since 2010. The full top ten will be revealed tomorrow.
The album was released on August 25. It's the follow-up to Yours Truly, which arrived on September 2, 2013 at #1. She's the first woman since Susan Boyle to do this, as Boyle did it with I Dreamed a Dream (2009) and The Gift (2010). My Everything features three songs that hit the top ten of the Hot 100, including "Problem" (ft. Iggy Azalea, peaked at #2), "Break Free" (ft. Zedd, peaked at #4) and "Bang Bang" (ft. Jessie J and Nicki Minaj, peaked at #6). "Bang Bang" is only on the deluxe version of the album. On the August 30 edition of the chart, all three songs were in the top ten at the same time. Grande is only the second lead female artist to do this after Adele.
