Snoop Dogg Starts Record Label, Changes Name

On the plus side, he hasn't become a symbol
In a recent interview, the artist formerly known as Snoop Doggy Dogg
revealed that he's now starting his own record label, Doggy Style Records,
and that his talent pool already includes rapper/producer Soopafly, singer
Mr. Kane (a.k.a. KoKane), MC E-White, R&B singer Vinnie Bernard, gospel
singer Uncle Reo, and vocalist LaToiya Williams. Also, in a move that will
no doubt lead to speculation that success has gone to his head, Snoop now
insists on being called "Bigg Snoop Dogg." And yes, the two 'g's are
necessary.
But, in an even more shocking announcement, Bigg Snoop Dogg also claimed to
have given up marijuana completely. When asked if it was "the cost he had to
pay to be the boss," Bigg Snoop replied: "Hmmm... sorta kinda. That’s the
cost that you have to pay if you wanna be here for your people. I’ve got
three kids. I wanna be a grand-pop. At the rate I was going, I wasn’t gonna
be here. I had to check myself before I got checked. I’m not trying to be a
dead legend. I’m trying to be a living legend. I care about myself and I
love me and I wanna be here. I don’t care what you say or what you feel. If
you have something negative to say about me not smoking weed, f--k you in
your mouth."
I'll let you draw your own conclusion about that last part.
