In what may become one of the biggest music stories of the year, the Los Angeles Times is claiming that they will reveal the killer of late rap star Tupac Shakur on the 6th anniversary of his death, September 13th.
The man who will report the killer, Chuck Phillips, has been investigating the case for a year and interviewed countless police officers and gang members. Phillips told the New York Post that he would name the killer, and that there is a connection to the East Coast.
Shakur was shot in Las Vegas 6 years ago following a Mike Tyson fight. His killer was never found, although some suspected that it may have had something to do with the East Coast/West Coast rap feud.
