Lil' Wayne Sued For Cancelling Concert

Promoters ask for almost $300K...
Lil' Wayne has been sued by Florida promoters Nunoise Entertainment and Jahfari Promotions who both claim the rapper missed a concert date and refused to reschedule it.
The comnpanies filed the lawsuit on January 19 in Miami-Dade County Circuit Court. The lawsuit claims Lil' Wayne (aka Dwayne Carter) signed a contract September 18, 2005 to perform at a Tampa nightclub the following October 29.
Lil' Wayne missed the event and returned a $15,000 deposit, but the suit clainms he still owes promoters $45,000 for canceling the show, the lawsuit said, as well as more than $200,000 in lost profits from the concert.
