The Eagles Top Britney On U.K. Charts

Could this be the true reflection of American charts?
The Eagles new album, Long Road Out Of Eden has outpaced the debut of Britney Spears' Blackout in the U.K. yesterday. The victory was further enhanced by the Eagles scoring their first ever #1 position on the U.K. charts with Eden, and having the honor of their first studio album in 28 years extending their run of hit albums to 33 years (On the Border debuted in 1974). The bands previous ranked album was Hotel California in 1976, which reached #2 on the U.K. charts.
As of today, American sales of Long Road Out Of Eden have not been made available by Wal-Mart, so U.S. charts will not reflect the bands debut. Traditionally, Wal-Mart does not give sales information for bands it has exclusive distribution rights.
