Tyler's Throat Troubles

Cause Aerosmith To Cancel Shows
Aerosmith frontman Steven Tyler's recurring throat problems are impairing the band's ability to end their tour with '70s pop rockers Cheap Trick on a high note, reports Jon Wiederhorn of MTV.com.
The Beantown rockers have canceled four shows in the past two weeks, and so far have only added one make-up show.
Aerosmith are still scheduled to play tonight in Burgettstown, Pennsylvania, after which the band plans to perform its last five original shows of the North American tour, plus an additional concert on June 30 in Pelham, Alabama. That show replaces the group's June 6 concert, which was the first one canceled.
The other canceled dates were June 12 in Atlantic City, New Jersey, June 14 in Scranton, Pennsylvania, and June 16 in Virginia Beach, Virginia. Aerosmith launched the tour to support their blues album, Honkin' on Bobo, on March 11 in Lubbock, Texas.
"It's a miracle how Steven does what he does," guitarist Joe Perry said. "There's not many people who can sing like he can and put out and deliver every night. He doesn't hold anything back. But the voice is a piece of fragile equipment.
The band has been on the road with great regularity since 2001, when it released Just Push Play, its most recent album of original material. In November of that year, Tyler suffered a similar throat condition, causing Aerosmith to also postpone a handful of shows.

Aerosmith's song I
Don't Want to Miss a thing must be one of the ultimate love songs of all times! The way Aerosmith sings t with so much passion, it simply gives
me goose bumps even after these years..It is so appropriate for the movie Armageddon.
