G-Unit rapper, Lloyd Banks, debuts at the No. 1 spot with his first solo effort, The Hunger for More, which sold 434,000 copies.
Usher is holding strong at No. 2 with Confessions, moving another 148,000 copies.
Brandy's fourth album, Afrodisiac, bows at No. 3 on sales of 131,000 copies.
Jadakiss falls from the top to No. 4 with Kiss of Death selling 122,000 copies this week.
Cash Money rapper Lil' Wayne's fourth studio album, Tha Carter, opens at No. 5 on the strength of 116,000 copies sold.
The Beastie Boys' former chart-topper, To the 5 Boroughs, drops three slots to No. 6 on a 35% slide to 92,000 copies.
The Cure scores the second highest-charting album of its nearly 25-year career with its self-titled set, which arrives at No. 7 on sales of 91,000 copies.
Gretchen Wilson's Here for the Party drops two slots to No. 8. Columbia's Spider-Man 2 soundtrack also drops two slots to No. 9 with a 2% sales gain to 84,000 copies.
Dave Matthews Band rounds out the top 10 with the live set The Gorge. The two-disc CD/DVD set opens at No. 10 with sales of 83,000 copies.
