With only a week left to go, Amy Winehouse's Back To Black is the best selling album in the UK this year, moving over 1.5 million copies in the past twelve months. That's enough for a 5x platinum certification according to the BPI (the UK equivalent of the RIAA).
"X Factor" (the UK equivalent of "American Idol") winner Leona Lewis is in second place with her debut album Spirit, which has sold over 1.2 million copies in just five weeks on the shelves. Mika's Life In Cartoon Motion trails at a solid #3 at just over 1 million in sales.
