Back In Black gets the deluxe treatment...
Amy Winehouse's two-CD, deluxe edition of her Back to Black album rose rom 3 to 1 yesterday to top the U.K. album chart for the first time. In a singles Top 10 featuring almost no changes from last week, Duffy's Mercy started a third week as the U.K.'s No. 1 song yesterday.
Winehouse's sales figures, in the U.K. and beyond, continue to flourish as tabloid coverage of her private life proliferates. The deluxe Back to Black is in it 17th week on the chart, but its new sales spurt does appear to be at the expense of the triple platinum-certified, single-disc original, which falls 12 to 30 in its 70th chart week.
