iPod Tops Poll Of Essential Things To Travel With
Posted by Dan Haggerty on 03.06.2008

The TNT Magazine Travel Show takes place in London, on March 8th, 2008 and a survey of more than 250 backpacking attendees revealed that 33% of travellers consider the iPod as the most essential item to take travelling with them, with Amy Winehouse voted the top artist to listen to while travelling. A mobile phone was the next most important item according to the poll, with more and more people seeing it as vital to have a phone to stay in touch with loved-ones back home and for emergency use. Ironically, only 2% of respondents named a first-aid kit as the most important item to stuff into that backpack.

The survey also asked travellers which artist they would be listening to on their iPod for 2008, with English soul sensation Amy Winehouse named as the favourite voice to accompany their travels. Surfer's favourite Jack Johnson was named as the second most popular person to upload onto an mp3 player, ahead of old favourites like U2 and Queen.

Amy winehouse?Don't get what's so great about her.the music is decent at best. She won grammys?big whoop.Grammys mean nothing.sad how people would rather listen to some drony singer and a wannabe folk singer.

I think I'll stick to my all-around superior (minus 3rd party support) Zen Vision M.
