Lil Wayne's Tha Carter III Finally Gets Release Date

Long-delayed album gets a solid release date...
Lil Wayne's long delayed Tha Carter III has gotten a release date of May 13th via Young Money/Cash Money/Universal Motown.
Tha Carter III is the final album in the "Carter" trilogy and is the rapper's first solo album since 2005's Tha Carter II, which has sold 1.3 million copies in the US. Billboard has confirmed that Hurricane Chris, Corey Gunz, Tyga, Jibbs, Shanell, Kidd Kidd, Mack Maine, Lil Mama, and Kayne West all recorded parts for the album.
Regarding the oft-delayed album, Lil Wayne told Billboard.com, It's one of those albums people are really waiting on, so I made it so that whatever is on it will stick with you forever."
"I'm taking my time with it. And I'm giving artists I respect and people I want to do songs with -- not songs the label fixed -- an opportunity to collaborate," he continued.
I can't wait for this thing to come out and bomb to end this "Best rapper alive" talk for good. I mean, look at that list of guests, it's candy ringtone "artist" heaven right there. Give me a break...
