Avenged Sevenfold To Record Upcoming Rockstar Show For DVD
Posted by Mitch Michaels on 04.04.2008

Avenged Sevenfold have been busy touring on the 4th Annual Rockstar Taste of Chaos since February, and next week they'll be returning home for a tour stop in Huntington Beach, California.

The band has announced that it will record the entire show for a live DVD that Warner Bros. Records will release later this year. The DVD will be directed by Core Entertainment's Rafa Alcantra, who also worked on the band's 2007 road documentary All Excess. The DVD package will also include a CD of seven previously unreleased b-sides that were recorded during the making of the band's current self-produced album, Avenged Sevenfold.

"We wanted to scheme up something big for our hometown crowd because we have the best fans in the world," says lead singer M. Shadows. "We'll be bringing it harder than we have for any stop on this tour. We're ready to blow the roof off!"

Footage from the Rockstar tour will be used in the upcoming music video for "Dear God," the second single from the band's current album. For more info as well as bonus media, visit the band's official website.
