Amy Winehouse Could Do Next Bond Theme

A double dose of Amy Winehouse today with 007 news...
Amy Winehouse might well be working on the theme song to the next installment of the James Bond series, but her record company is downplaying the move.
Winehouse has been in the studio working with Mark Ronson, producer of her hit sophomore album Back To Black, an Island Records spokesman confirms. "She has been doing some work in the studio, but [the Bond theme] is speculation, basically."
Ronson told BBC 6Music that the pair had been working on a track for the upcoming Bond film Quantum Of Solace. He told the digital station that there was no official guarantee that the fruits of their recording efforts would be included in the action movie, which is due for a theatrical release in November.
"It would be lovely," adds the Island spokesman, "but there's nothing to confirm at this stage."

Wasn't there a rumor a few months back that they were courting HIM to do the next Bond theme? I'd rather hear their music than Skanky McCrackhead's.

Controversy and drug business aside, you gotta admit, Amy Winehouse has the perfect voice for a Bond theme song. If (and it's a big if) she gets her shit together, I'd say she'd be great for it.

She sucks, plain and simple. If she wants to die so badly, I will gladly send her a box of razor blades

I agree, she does have the right voice for a Bond Theme. I just hope they can come up with something better than the song for Casino. At LEAST have the name of the film in the song this time. I dont think they'll ever match the highs of Shirley (Sp) , Tina and Pauls songs but still, a decent effort wouldnt go amiss.
