Well, that was quick...
TMZ.com reported today that Stone Temple Pilots frontman Scott Weiland was released from jail last night after being behind bars for 13 minutes.
Weiland turned himself in at 8:55 a.m. yesterday, was officially booked at just after noon, and then checked into prison at 6:41 p.m. At 6:54 p.m, Weiland was released. No official reason has been given at this time for his early release.
Weiland was sentenced to 192 hours, or 8 days, in jail for a November 2007 DUI arrest in Los Angeles. The singer also received four years' probation, was fined $2,000, and was ordered to take part in an 18-month alcohol program. He was potentially looking at a year behind bars for DUI with a prior conviction.

I don't know why everyone says that celebrities get special treatment because they always get out of jail early. Unless someone did something REALLY bad, people usually get out of jail early.
