Rock Hall Of Fame Adds Contemporary Music Exhibit
Posted by Mitch Michaels on 08.01.2008

The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and Museum yesterday unvieled the new "Right Here, Right Now!" exhibit (formerly "On The Charts"). Like its predecessor, "Right Here, Right Now!" will continue to showcase artifacts from up-and-coming musicians who are creating a buzz in the contemporary music scene.

Artifacts revealed with the re-opening of the exhibit include everything from guitars to clothing, artwork, lyrics and more. Some of today's most noteworthy artists will have items on display, including Phantom Planet, Sara Bareilles, Good Charlotte and Usher.

Other items include Colbie Caillat's acoustic-electric guitar used to write her hit song "Bubbly", a jumpsuit worn by Feist in the "1234" video, an electric guitar from My Chemical Romance's Frank Iero, played on the 2005 Van's Warped Tour, Ryan Adams' 1967 Gibson Southern Jumbo guitar, used to compose and record many of the songs on albums 29, Jacksonville City Nights, Cold Roses and Easy Tiger , and Hayley Williams of Paramore's dress worn in the "Emergency" video and on the 2006 Van's Warped Tour.

For more info, check out the official Rock & Roll Hall Of Fame website.
