Justin Timberlake Wants Credit For Making Trucker Caps Fashionable

F*ck Ashton Kutcher...
Justin Timberlake insists he should be recognised for making trucker caps fashionable because he started wearing them long before actor Ashton Kutcher.
Justin said: "It's funny, I keep hearing Ashton Kutcher say how he was responsible for trucker caps. Me and my friend Trace Ayala were wearing them when we were seventeen."
Although Justin likes experimenting with different styles, he doesn't see himself as a trendsetter.
He added: "Honestly, I don't walk out of my house thinking, Man, I hope somebody thinks this looks cool! There's some stuff I wear that people think is not cool."
Justin - who launched the William Rast denim line in 2005 - also revealed he has designed a new collection with Swedish fashion designer Johan Lindeberg. He explained: "It is Southern heritage meets forward European innovation. I don't want to be Mr 'SexyBack' forever."
Justin is set to perform at the Fashion Rocks concert - which celebrates the relationship between fashion and music - at New York's Radio City Music Hall on September 5. Beyonce, Mariah Carey, Keith Urban, the Pussycat Dolls and Timbaland are also scheduled to appear.

If Justin was wearing them at 17 and no one else was, then he didn't make them fashionable. It just means he was showing the world he was a douche long before Ashton was.

Hey Guys the real person who made trucker hats come back was Pharrell from NERD. Then Von Dutch blew up b/c people saw him wear it. Then Justin wore the "white hat" then ashton wore his. Pharrell wins.

Part of me just thinks it was an offhand and semi-sarcastic comment. Timberlake actually doesn't come off as being as douchy or pretentious as you'd assume, most of the time. And he's made a hell of a post-boyband career for himself.
Anywhoo, trucker caps are only really good for someone with straight hair...otherwise it's all sticking out the back and looks horrible. That's why I stopped wearing em.
