50 Cent, Jay-Z Top Hip-Hop's 2008 Money Kings

Which rappers brought in the most money over the last 12 months?
50 Cent topped the list of hip-hop money makers for the past 12 months. Thanks in part to his percentage ownership in Vitamin Water, which got bought by Coca-Cola, 50 earned over $150 million over the past 12 months. $100 million of that came from the Vitamin Water deal alone.
Meanwhile, Jay-Z earned over $75 million to come in at #2. Sean "Diddy" Combs came in at #3 with $35 million. Kanye West took #4 with $30 million. And Dr. Dre came in at #5 with $15 million, most of that off of royalties from all the hit albums he has been involved with.
And not too far behind is Tupac Shakur who managed to earn nearly $15 million despite the handicap of being dead for over 10 years.
