Limp Bizkit Making A Comeback
Posted by Daniel Wilcox on 09.26.2008

According to internet rumours and Metal Hammer magazine, Limp Bizkit have reformed. The Fred Durst-fronted outfit have not released any new material since 2005's Greatest Hitz, which included a medley of Mötley Crüe's Home Sweet Home and The Verve's Bitter Sweet Symphony.

Since Limp Bizkit's on-off guitarist Wes Borland officially joined Marilyn Manson earlier this year, Durst and co have re-recruited another on-off guitarist: Terry Balsamo. Balsamo was part of the early 'Bizkit line-up in 1995, before picking up guitar duties with Cold and Evanescence.

It's not clear if the band have recorded any new material yet. The only recent addition to the band's MySpace page is the previously unreleased track Summer Of Bipolar Love.

I'm gonna catch some crap for this, but...

"The Undisputed Truth Vol. 1" is actually a pretty good CD. There, I said it.

Dope, I know people are going to say Limp Bizkit sucks and this and that but I liked there music, and I know a shit load of people who do to. Hopefully they don't change there style up.

phuck yes! terry is the phuck'n man.he brought this eerie vibe to cold's '13 ways to bleed' and that album's in my top 5 ever. i hope this is the first step in putting an end to all this hipster 'indy' bullshit.

Oh wow. It's like they said "How can we make this band even shittier?", paused, then pumped their fists triumphantly in the air and shouted "I know! We'll bring in that faggot from Evanescence!"

three dollar bill yall was a great album, and if fred can get back to that level then he'll be in good shape. MTV and his own ego ruin durst. Maybe a more humble Fred will turn it around and get to what matters, kicking fucking ass on stage

Vallejo = Douche.
The best way to get your point across (and have people care) is NOT to use immature words like "faggot." Please punch yourself until you've got that out of your system.

Metal Hammer magazine you say?

Like any further proof is needed that the mainstream definition of "metal" is simultaneously hilarious and pathetic enough that a magazine pretending to be associated with the genre is mentioning this utter joke of a band.

o right, limp bizkit, the popular group of the nu metal bands are gonna continue with the nu metal sound when all the others realized "no one gives a fuck anymore, lets try something else"

Cosign Stan Lee. "The Undisputed Truth, Vol. 1" was a solid CD.

Balsamoshould be a great addition, but I wonder if he will replace Wes in the hearts of Bizkit fans. We shall see.

Fuck you, Fred.

Screw the haters. Limp Bizkit was a damn good mainstream rock band.

But if they make another album like the Unquestionable Truth Part 1, I won't by it. What this world needs right now is a throw back to the Significant Other days.

Hey, it looks like a lot of people are done shitting on Bizkit. The ones that are trying to tear them a new asshole probably haven't heard anything before the travesty that was that hotdog flavored starfish. At least, it sucked in my opinion. Other than that, not nearly as bad as people say.

Recently I sat back and looked at the big picture of the music industry, and I've come to the conclusion that the end of the world is near, this must be a phase of Revelations. Heaven help us all.
