Does this mean lil Wayne will make better music? Of course not, Jay-Z is just banking off of the hot topic of the moment. Kudos to Jay, and Wayne make better music you are not the greatest until you have at least one classic.
What gets me is why did Cash Money sell so easily are they so fucking high they don't realize Wayne is their only profit? I mean damn 5 million from a group of rappers that act like they make a 100 mill

Frankly it sickens me that anyone enjoys Lil Waynes music. The song swagga like us on TI's new record features Wayne on it and we always skip him. Its pretty funny because everyone I've talked to agrees he is crap. Must be teenagers.

Tony,
You do realize that "everyone you talk to" is maybe .00001% of the US population.

i've been getting away from hip hop for a few years now...i still listen to a few of the "old school" guys like: nas, ras kass and wu tang clan but....even with that being said....i'm with Dab.....why did cash money let wayne go for so cheap???
he was cash money at this point...nobody else over there sells...unless there's something that i've been missing?
either way, this is good for jay z, because it makes him look like the mastermind business that he thinks he is....and lil wayne gets to pal around with his idol.

Seriously, Lil Wayne is an aquired taste. He doesn't talk about the stupid shit other rappers do, he doesnt have to curse or say nigga every other word. He was actually a gifted student in school and is very clever. His lyrics are cool and sometimes funny, and his rhymes are just crazy fun.
There is a reason why he won nearly every award at the BET's and why the Carter III sold like a million copies in its 1st week.

I tried to like Lil Wayne...I did...I just can't. I do love My Life by Game though, which features Wayne. If Wayne just did choruses and played small parts in songs he'd much more enjoyable. I just can't listen to him "rap" for too long.

wane is kewl dnt get me wrong but he jus not great im sorry but ppl like jay, kanye, nas, game, rakim, t.i, cassidy, lupe, & many more. dey tell stories & have sumthing 4 u 2 connect 2. wayne is jus an idiot who 2 me doesn't seem 2 really try. he needs 2 learn how 2 be dat poet. even andre 3000 has a pupose in his raps & he does dat crazy rap like wayne. but jay he's da greatest rapper ever of all time because wat u hear on a jay z album is not wat u hear his songs always have a meaning jus pay attention. wayne cant do dat with him its jus simple u kno wat he's tlking bout.............. crap

hi all. The toughest thing about success is that you've got to keep on being a success. Talent is only a starting point in this business. You've got to keep on working that talent. Someday I'll reach for it and it won't be there.
I am from China and too poorly know English, please tell me whether I wrote the following sentence: "Special article from the new england journal of medicine a prospective study of holiday weight gain."
With best wishes :-D, Lucie.
