Ashlee Simpson Has Baby Boy
Posted by Rebecca Stone on 11.21.2008

Ashlee Simpson and husband Pete Wentz have welcomed their first child, a boy.

Bronx Mowgli Wentz weighed 7 lbs, 11 oz, and was 20.5 inches long. He was born Thursday night, a spokesperson for the couple confirms.

"Proud new parents Pete Wentz and Ashlee Simpson-Wentz welcomed new son, Bronx Mowgli Wentz, late this evening," the rep tells Us. "Ashlee, Pete and baby Bronx are all healthy and happy, and thank everyone for their well wishes!"

they can come over and play with my soon Brooklyn and we can all realize how gay we all are. Then I can name my future kids the rest of the 5 boroughs.

or you can just name them all from characters from the Jungle Book...

Mowgli? Did they really give that child the middle name Mowgli? If they have another boy, they should name that one Manhatten Baloo.

I didn't think it would have the mark of the beast anyways. Also, Pete Wentz is really scrapping the bottom of the pop culture reference barrel when he names his kid after the kid from The Jungle Book.

Have they shown him the Bear Necessities yet?

This poor kid... What's with these celebritards giving their kids such stupid ass names? Does it make them feel "cultured" or something? What's next? A daughter named Queens Bagheera? Times-Square Shere-Khan? Brooklyn Baloo? Manhattan King Louie? Staten Island Hathi??? It's like this woman I knew of that named a kid Chandelier and another one Champagne, I was waiting for Dinner Plate.

"Ashlee Simpson and husband Pete Wentz have welcomed their first child, a boy."... and the baby had it's first cosmetic surgery later that day.
