Nancy Grace Links Sevendust To Alleged Murder
Posted by Dan Marsicano on 12.03.2008
A strange link made by CNN loudmouth...
Nancy Grace has somehow linked the Sevendust song "The Past" to the alleged murder of Caylee Anthony.
On her show recently, Grace hinted Sevendust might be indirectly responsible for murder. She was highlighting the song, "The Past," alleging that Casey Marie Anthony may have used the song as inspiration to allegedly murder her daughter Caylee Anthony in Orlando, Florida when the girl was reported missing on June 16 of this year.
A statement by the band was released and reads: "After hearing the news that our song 'The Past' was a topic of discussion on the Nancy Grace show yesterday, we would like to elaborate. The song was written as a song of hope. A song with positive message. to look back on your life and reflect and to feel good about getting through the rough times that everyone goes through, the roller coaster of life so to speak. We regret that we've been linked to the horrible subject involving the disappearance of little Caylee Anthony. Most of us have children and have been saddened by the story from the beginning. We pray for the safe return of this beautiful young child and wish her family strength."

Nancy Grace? You mean the same idiot that thought Chris Benoit killed his family because he was kicked out of the Four Horsemen? To hell with her. McGruff the Crimedog has more credibility than that harpy.

Wait...what? She seriously attempted to make a connection between a murder and a song?
Whoa, I guess you do not need any intelligences to become a reporter today.

I hate this woman more than any person on earth!
She has been speculating on this case for 5 months (I know it's all my dad watches)and all of it is hear say.
Since when did songs kill people? To quote Chris Rock, "whatever happened to just being crazy?"

I'm surprised that Nancy Grace is still able to fight the instinct to unhinge her jaw and swallow those twins she gave birth to.

Isn't this the same woman who knew the Yale team members were guilty of raping that one girl...then called in sick the day they were cleared of all charges.
Screw her...watch Olbermann and crap like this will go away.

Nancy Grace is the same woman who brutally accused Richard Ricci of kidnapping Elizabeth Smart. I recall Nancy literally badgering Ricci's wife/sig other on the air. Nancy needs to go back to the court room where her behavior is *appropriate*...

She didn't link it to the murder, she says crazy Casey listened to it over and over around the time Caylee disappeared. Get your facts straight, and don't be so quick to hate. At least Nancy Grace is doing something to find justice for this beautiful little girl!

I say watch neither, they are both jackasses.

What she said and what is reported here are two different things. I believe the key thoughts are "indirectly responsible" and "Casey may have used the song as inspiration".
This isn't Nancy Grace coming out and saying "Sevendust killed Caylee".
And I like her and I like her show. The more she talks about this case, the more publicity it gets and the more things get done about it. Obviously the Anthony family has done SO MUCH to try to find Caylee, haven't they? After all, Casey waited a month to report it, and her parents (who I believe are as crooked as her) are getting "tips from all over that Caylee is alive" yet not reporting a damn thing to the cops.
Nancy Grace, Leonard Padilla and the Equusearch people are the only ones doing anything to find Caylee. I hope Casey rots in jail for the rest of her life.

nancy grace also interrogated a person of interest in a kidanpping case live on air. the woman then committed suicide the next day.
people go missing and are murdered everyday. why do certain cases get pub and others dont?

Sevendust should ritually eat her face but let her live and do her show without it.

Hmmm, why did not Bush put her on his cabinet?
Posted By: who cares (Guest) on December 03, 2008 at 01:22 PM
Nancy Grace is just saying Casey listend to it. At least Nancy is keeping this story in the media so little Caylee won't be forgotten and we can all see justice get served. Some of the reports Nancy has done with her show the state is using as evedince against Casey so Nancy is doing a great job...back off and let her handle things!

Um... no April. Nancy Grace does NOT care. I cannot stress enough how much she is only doing this for ratings. She rarely comes to any intelligent conclusions and then when the case loses public interest, she drops it like a bad habit. She does what she does for ratings... nothing else. Also, her endless "reporting" on this one case distracts from the other thousand or so murders and kidnappings and other issues that deserve attention. Once again... Nancy Grace does NOT give a shit about Kaylee or anybody but herself and her ratings. She destroys people and the issues with her random speculation, and is the worst thing to happen to honest journalism since Bill o Reilly.

In response to jd's comment..
nancy grace also interrogated a person of interest in a kidanpping case live on air. the woman then committed suicide the next day.
THAT WOMAN DID SOMETHING TO HER CHILD "TRENTON DUCKETT" AND SHE TOOK IT TO HER GRAVE.
Thank God for Nancey Grace and her team for all of the publicity of this case...If it werent for Nancey Grace no one would have even known about this little missing angel and her Whorish Selfish Mother (which she souldnt even have that as a title, because she was the furthest thing from it).
Praying For the Anthony Family and that Justice will be served!

first of all Nancy Grace is just stating/commenting what she believes in , and that was that casey was probably listening to the song over and over while thinking what to do with caylee...that does not make her a bad person... we all would like to see this come to an end , for the childs sake , whether she is dead or alive , if she(casey) did kill her daughter then she deserves everything she(casey) has comming to her and more ,and as far as the anthony's , I think they know more than what they lead on , and are covering up for casey, specially cindy ,why would she wash evidence before giving it to the police, and now why would she give the wrong hair brush knowing they needed a hair sample of caylee ,she needs to be behind bars as well ,for tampering with evidence .. and leonard padilla , he has done a great job in helping find this child why is anyone even talkin g about him,and eqquasearch , going down there from texas says it all , we are known for the friendly state , and it dont matter waht color ,race you are we'd go that extra mile to help out a fellow citizen , and thats what they have done , thats what they do, is help families to find their loved ones ,dont hate them for doing a great job ....

She does this shit for ratings, same as, oh, pick your FOX Noise anchor. O'Reilly and Hannity come to mind.
Anyways, WHO THE FUCK CARES what song someone listened to? Fucking seriously. You right-wingers can cheer her all you want for keeping this story in the news, but THIS is not how it's done. I don't give a fuck if all I ever listened to was a song called "I Kill People and You Should, Too!", because I would STILL be responsible for my own actions!
I'm so fucking sick of people in this country ignoring personal responsibility. The right-wing nuts LOVE to point fingers at entertainment when some crazy asshole does some crazy asshole thing.

Music doesn't kill people. people kill people! These fuckin' idiots always blame music or wrestling for unfortunate deaths.

First ofall I want to say I LOVE Nancy Grace!!!!!!! she is AWESOME!!!!! Most of your comments on this on this page sound like they are coming from teenagers, but the sad part is that all of you are grown ass uneducated men and women. Nancy Grace never said that the "song" killed that little girl all she suggested was that the SICK BITCH Casey was sick and sadistic and sat and listened to it trying to make sense of what she was planning on doing to her daughter. Get your facts straight before you start bashing people and at least if you have something to say make it the truth dont just get online and start talking out of your ass because you have nothing better to do with your lousy life. NANCY GRACE IS AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Aoh, and by the way no one is pointing the the finger at the entertainment industry or anyone else for that matter. The only having the finger pointed at her is that SICK CHILD MURDERER!!!! CASEY ANTHONY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! May she ROT in HELL for ever and an eternity.....That is the person you should be bashing, sick people like that not people who are trying to make a living....

WOW!!! That old school notion that all rock is evil and makes people kill??? Please. Sevendust talks alot about strength and hope. Grace...which she has none of needs to move out of her old school out dated way of thinking and learn about the song before she starts attacking innocent people. Shame on Nancy.
