New contest could land you your own avatar with Johnny Napalm and Lars Umlaut in "Guitar Hero" and unlock free content!

If you have dreamed of being a rock star, then GameStop is going to try and make that dream come true. The company has announced a promotional sweepstakes featuring the prize of becoming a playable character in a future Guitar Hero game. The prize package includes round trip airfare and hotel accommodations in Los Angeles, a meeting with game developers, a photo shoot to have your likeness captured for your avatar in a future Guitar Hero game and $1,000 in spending money.

The site also features a section to unlock the 84-track vault early with your GameStop receipt, as well as a Rock Name Generator, a gallery of the greatest rock poses and more!
