Nick Cannon's gotta be smilin'...

Mariah Carey was paid $1 million to sing just four songs at a New Year's Eve party thrown by Libyan dictator Colonal Gaddafi's son Saif at the Nikki Beach Club on St. Barts.

Nick Cannon accompanied Mariah to the event, which also saw performances by Jay-Z and Timbaland. Guests included actors Daniel Craig and Eddie Murphy.

A source said: "They all had a great time."
