Guns N’ Roses Could Release Next Album “Soon”
Posted by Dan Haggerty on 01.06.2009

Insiders on the now infamous Chinese Democracy album have stated that there was a lot of material written and recorded that did not make the album. Frontman Axl Rose appeared on fan based message boards recently and confirmed this when he recently implied the next album would be seen "soon", confirming that there was already enough material available for a new album. But he also added: "For now we'll concentrate and keep our focus on this album but I will say I've always thought of it as a double".

During the Q&A with online fans, he also added this regarding recent court cases from former band mates Slash and Duff MvKagen: "What I can say now is you've been told a lot of things in order for others to promote themselves that factually they cannot backup in regard to either… They are complicated legally, financially and have devoured a good portion of my life."

Because Chinese Democracy wasnt bad enough?

Give it up already.

I hope Axl's next album is called American Communism or Canadian Socialism.

French Aggression would be cool too.

EPIC FAILURE....

Besides 2 easily forgettable songs the album was solid! It wasn't the best thing I've ever heard but it doesn't suck in anyway.

However, if the next one has a similar writing pattern then I will not be backing it. Use Your Illusion I and II had enough differences to make them both good separate albums. The one knock is that they are both a little lengthy similar to chinese Democ.

Using that phrase is lame.

So he's using Trent Reznor's definition of 'soon', I assume.

Man, so you read that article on 411 Music, that said saying EPIC FAIL in "so 2008" and you now believe it and enforce it on everyone else. ....Baaaaaaaaah.

I hope it comes out soon because that last album was not half bad. Ok, maybe it was half bad, but I loved "Chinese Democracy", "Shackler's Revenge", "Better", "If The World", "Riad N" The Bedouins" and "I.R.S". The rest was pretty much suckish. But what I really hope is that they finally put to rest the issues between Axl and ex bandmates. Face it Axl, they will never be back!

How ill-informed!

There are between 3 and 4 CDs' worth of music awaiting release over the next two to three years.

Also I notice you have a lot of intellectually challenged people posting here.

(See above...)

Considering "The Wealth" was stolen from US Tax Payers in the form of Trillion Dollar bail outs to banks and other industries under GW's administration, I'll call your "Obama redistribution of wealth" a "return on our 'forced investment' in corporate America".

But I guess since you make more than $150K a year, and your tax rate will return to the same rate under Clinton's administration (which yielded 8 prosperous years, with a government surplus) your pissed. Man, that sounds rough. Sucks to be you.

"Listen to all the little EMO BITCHES whine. Shut up and listen to FALL OUT BOY, fags." Tubbstattsyrup (Guest)

Well i couldn't have put it much better myself. It's to bad that all the bands that still put out good music catch flak becasue most kids these days are to busy listenin to like the new hit single lately. To bad every modern artist has like 2 songs that they are known for. Not to many albums being made anymore that i can listen to the whole album and not be pissed cuz it sucks. But bands like the Foo Fighters, Velvet revolver, And GNR are still doin good work. Keep it up. As for everyone else, I heard 50 cent is puttin out a new cd and like 3 of the songs are supposed to be able to keep your attention. Enjoy!
