Kanye West taled about his desire to pose nude in a recent issue of Vibe, but says that he could only do that if he had fewer fans.
"I made a decision. I wanna make popular music, but I want less fans," he said when questioned about being comfortable with fame. "I want the freedom of having less fans. It's like the freedom of having less money. If you have less money, you have less responsibility. It's like Björk. If she wanted to pose naked, you'd be like, 'Oh, that's Björk.' But if I wanted to pose naked, people would draw all type of things into it. I definitely feel like, in the next however many years, if I work out for two months, that I'll pose naked. I break every rule and mentality of hip-hop, of black culture, of American culture."
Kanye's idea of less fans he meant having 20,000 devotees rather than 100,000 people who like him just because he's popular.
He also spoke about who he thought was the best around: "I believe Beyoncé is the greatest performer of our generation," he offered. "I believe I am the greatest entertainer of this generation. I go neck-and-neck on Jay-Z and [Lil] Wayne as far as who's the best lyricist. Jay-Z has longevity."
West also called 808s & Heartbreak his top album ever and the most resonate LP of 2008.

Kanye is my man but he is starting to get on my nerves. Some of the stuff that comes outta his mouth is just dumb. I hope he gets an attitude adjustment soon because I'm sure I'm not the only person who feels this way.

look...i think kanye is a great beatmaker...and a decent entertainer...but, i also feel he's a complete "hype-machine" for himself...and the majority, if not all, of what he says is for some type of publicity.
so, i say just ignore the guy. hopefully, this will give him the fewer fans he desires and if it leads to him thinking he can pose nude and get away with it...fine.
hopefully, it will ruin his career and he'll disapear into the "where are they now" section of former musicians.
or i can only hope so.
