Details On New Les Claypool Album

Les Claypool will release a new solo album, Of Fungi And Foe, on March 17, 2009 via Prawn Song Records.

The album grew from material Claypool has recorded over the past few years for the video game "Mushroom Men" and movie Pig Hunt. The song "Mushroom Men" on this release is a more in depth version of the theme song from the video game. Additionally a jam session with Gogol Bordello's frontman Eugene Hutz turned into the track "Bite Out Of Life". A tracklisting is below.

I just beat Mushroom Men was a fun game and loved the soundtrack.

I've yet to play Mushroom Men, but every raves about. I think it's awesome Les is putting out a new cd, since I've always been a Primus mark.
