Highlights From Lil Wayne Interview With Katie Couric

Weezy defends weed and bowling, plus cries about Katrina and his dad...
Lil Wayne, who has already showed up on The Late Show with David Letterman to read the Top 10 this week, was interviewed by Katie Couric for a pre-Grammys special, set to air this Sunday.
In the interview, Wayne talks about his obsession with bowling. He's been into the sport since the age of 16 and even owns four custom-made balls.
Tears flow when Weezy talks about Hurricane Katrina, his deadbeat dad and his addiction to cough syrup. Wayne says he's no longer addicted to the juice, but also waves the marijuana flag: "I will stand up for weed any day."
Wayne says he smokes for medicinal purposes, like alleving migraines.
"I'm a rapper and that's who I am, Miss Katie," Weezy says, "And I am a gangsta, and I do what I want. And I love to smoke."

Jonas Brothers = U2? Ummm, that's like me telling you to go listen to your Wu-Tang and Nick Cannon cds ... obviously there is a huge difference. And cd's?? People dont use those any more, it's all about iPods, Zunes, and sh!t like that.

Did someone say Nick Cannon!? "Daddy, Nick Cannon's hilarious". Ok, the beats are good, the hooks are good, but the rhymes though...man, he's a HORRIBLE lyricist!

I said it before I'll say it again, this interview is hilarious, seeing this moron try to sound intelligent is very entertaining. It's a shame this clown is the most popular rapper out there, he makes hip-hop look so bad, it's really embarassing.

I can never hate a man for making his money anyway he can. I'm sure if anyone else had the opportunity to do what he does and make a killing money wise they would do it in a heartbeat. But every time this idiot opens his mouth he sounds like a fool.
