Notes:
Taylor Swift marks her eleventh week on top of the charts with Fearless. That's the most weeks any album has taken #1 since Santana held 12 weeks with Supernatural in 2000.
Lamb of God tops tow huge debuts int he Top 10 this week with Wrath at #2. That's LoG's best charting ever. Wrath also moved more copies than their 2006 album Sacrament's first week. Wrath sales likely saw an increase thanks to the unique contest the band used to promote the record, where fans could score music lessons, roadie gigs and BBQ's with the band.
The Jonas Brothers landed at #3 this week with their 3D Concert Experience soundtrack. The set was tipped to go to #1 by early analysts, but lost steam. The same happened with their movie, which bowed at #2 at the box office with less than half its expected first weekend gross.
The Slumdog Millionaire soundtrack took advantage of its Oscar wins for Best Score and Best Original Song, doubling its sales this week and landing at #4 - its highest position yet. The album track "Jai Ho!", which won for Song, is poised for a high charting on the Hot 100 this week as well.
Finally, Lady GaGa's debut, The Fame, marks another career peak this week, moving up to #7 on a slight increase. That album contains the #1 hit "Just Dance" and the current Top 5 hit "Poker Face".
