Two New SC Polls: Romney Expanding Lead
Posted by Ashish on 01.17.2012

The latest numbers out of South Carolina show Mitt Romney running away with things. Rasmussen has Romney at 35%, followed by Gingrich at 21% and Santorum and Paul both at 16%. Monmouth University has Romney at 33%, Gingrich at 22%, Santorum at 14%, and so the Ron Paul people don't freak out because I don't mention him, he's at 12%.

These are obviously pre-debate polls, so Gingrich may see a bit of a bounce, but with Romney holding double digit leads and voting on Saturday, he's in good position to make it three in a row.

Your opinion is STUpid. I have no original thoughts of my own. But yours are STUpid.

Ron Paul's legion of brain-dead followers will still freak out. They'll claim that 12% obviously doesn't reflect the true numbers that will turn out in droves for him. Then they'll tell you about the magic unicorn that farts pixie dust, and the elves that can cure any ill just by winking at you.

LMAO @ Ron Paul people. Why not mention the Rick Perry people Ashish? You are trying to act like the Paul voters are a small block of the electorate which is wrong.

You stupid sheeple. You have no idea the kind of ground game Ron Paul has. Quite frankly, he doesn't need this nomination. In fact, this entire exercise is just bringing constitutionalism to the general public, which will make Ron the first independent candidate to have a legit chance at getting the presidency.

lol... is that what the new excuse of the Paul-ites is going to be? "He doesn't need this nomination?"

Ron Paul is this generation's Ralph Nader. A lot of ignorant people following him that have no real idea what he stands for.

Ron Paul isn't even the new Ralph Nader. He's the new Ross Perot.

I guess that includes the four South Carolina senators that just decided to endorse him? Or maybe you were just referencing yourself? Why don't YOU read up and see what he really stands for as opposed to just getting your information from the corporate controlled mainstream media? Maybe you can actually get the truth and LEARN something here:

Gotta love South Carolina. They boo the "golden rule" while cheering for their state being at war with the federal government and Newt's inability to understand how his bigotry offends African Americans.

Ron Paul supporters know damn well what he stands for. Your comment is based on nothing.

So while you're here (you never seem not to be) why don't you tell us who you support and which of their views you support and why? Because something tells me you're the one who has no idea what ANY of these people stand for.

I think It's time I mention who I am.

My name real name is Mary Hill and i work for the Ron Paul Campaign.

My job is to go on websites and get the word out about Ron Paul, even if it's in a combative tone. The more people who know about Ron Paul the better.

We have our data, from people we hired and trust that shows he has a 62% approval rating in the country and will win the republican nomination in a landslide. I can divulge any more information or tell you who did the polling but mark my words it's true.

I will continue to post under Michael, and will post again soon blasting this post as a clear case of trolling to protect my identity.

Thank you for understanding

That should be objective...

Ron Paul people make me laugh so much. Is there some sort of website where you order your tin hats or do you have to make your own?

I don't usually agree with Scott B., but he is right. I'm a big Ron Paul supporter and I went to a viewing party for the most recent debate. Many of the people in the room were booing the other candidates for talking about state rights and free markets. I couldn't believe it. Basically, they were booing if anybody other than Ron Paul was speaking. I was expecting a pep rally type atmosphere, but I was not prepared to telling the other candidates to shut up and to boo answers that were interesting points, such as Newt's point that 99 weeks is an Associate's Degree. I think a lot of Ron Paul supporters know what he stands for, but quite a lot are simply upset at government and are supporting Ron Paul without knowing any of his core positions.

What intelligent people you Americans are. You spend your time bashing the one candidate who might actually make a difference. Oh well, enjoy spending another trillion dollars borrowed from China on some other needless war that makes you look even worse in the eyes of the rest of the world. You know, the countries that believe in workers rights, evolution, and taking care of our sick and needy!

The title is "Romney expands lead" and all the Ron Paul haters come out in droves. U scared, bro?

I didn't state that Ron Paul supported those things, I listed those as attributes of the rest of the modern world. Ron Paul would help you bloody fools save billions of dollars that you might use on health care and education, two areas where your country fairs very poorly.

No genius, objective would be learning about Ron Paul on Mitt Romney's or Barack Obama's website right??? They're basically the same anyway. I see you didn't even bother to get informed on ACTUAL FACTS. That website is NOT run by Ron Paul, but instead by some of his supporters who are trying to clear up the ton of misinformation that the mainstream media has put out there to confuse and brainwash. I will now stop trying to lead this horse to water. Jeeez.....

Except for the fact that Ron Paul will cut those things also. And that's a good thing. This rest of the world argument is stupid because they are doing even worse than we are. Europe is in total financial mess. The U.S. has increased spending adjusting for inflation on education, and education has gotten worse. The bureaucracy expands and the money rarely sees the classroom. It pays for more and more administrators, the curriculum becomes more rote with less creativity. Ron Paul is right, the federal government should be out of public education.

A trained monkey could do the same job if all he was going to do is cut every program in the federal budget and take us back to 1800's style living.

My name is Paul Dondero and i worked with the man...and frankly anyone supporting him is clueless and has no idea what this man ACTUALLY supports.

This is the same man that said getting involved in WWII to "save the Jews" was "none of our business"

Oh and let me list about 25 sites that are independent that go on HIS OWN WORDS and PROVE he is not what he appears to be....oh wait you sheep wouldn't believe it anyway as it wouldn't fit that nice little narrative you have created for this man.
