If this poll is accurate, and we'll need to see others to confirm, perception seems to be setting in among GOP voters that Romney will be the nominee. The fact that Donald Trump, a supposed Tea Party figure, endorsed Romney over Gingrich, pretty much says it all. Gingrich will have to win a state before Super Tuesday, otherwise it's hard to see how he will justify staying in.

Romney needs to build a majority. The biggest question surrounding this race is whether Romney will gain enough pledged delegates to win the first round of voting at the convention. Winning with plurality isn't enough.
If the nomination battle goes to the convention, I believe Romney would still secure the nomination. The "establishment" supports Romney, and that bodes well for the frontrunner in the event that subsequent delegate votes are necessary.

I'm just laughing at this whole primary, but if Romney can't pull 50% in Nevada (a heavily Mormon state), he's gonna have huge problems everywhere. At some point the frontrunner needs to pull a big victory somewhere that he's not expected to, or he needs an actual blowout where he pulls 50-60% of the vote.

So bro... its like... I've never worked on any politics before... like... you know. But its like.. what I think is like... if it were me... I would like bust out a sweet guitar solo... or like go all "up-up-down-down-left-right-left-right-B-A" and then be all like "start!". And they'd be like "bro! no way are you going to Alaskan military academy! You're going to the white house! For sure!". Totally!

Well that was Florida-Gingrich's neighboring state which Romney crushed him in last week. So, yeah, there's that blowout you wanted, and I am sure many more from Romney to come.....
Like it or not, President Romney will be his title in 2013.

Yeah pretty sure that won't happen. Though maybe in your (red)neck of the woods everyone doesn't like the president.
In the more civilized parts people don't think he's been the best thing, but he is 1000% better than any of the clowns the republicans have carted out.
